Shorty #3 – Tough

Tough… Last night was tough. For me. For my girlfriend. Mentally. Emotionally. Tough.

But, as sure as the sun will rise, tough times will pass. And as cliche as it is, everyday is a new beginning.

There are a lot of things in this life that one cannot control. But I am a huge believer that anyone, everyone, can control how they feel. If you are going through tough times, do not let it define you. Do not let it own you. Own it. Conquer it. Destroy it.

I challenge anyone who is upset, depressed, anxious, sad, to get outside, get to the gym, and change their diet. I’m not a scientist, I don’t have a background in this, but I learn. I listen to podcasts. I read articles online. Not buzzfeed articles. Medical articles. Medical papers. Articles from true experts in these fields.

But do not just listen to me. Please. Do your own research. Learn for yourself. Discover that YOU have the ability to change how you feel NOW. You CAN do it. Set a goal, and achieve it. You WILL feel better. Step by step. Everything WILL get better. It always does.

If anyone reads this – thank you.

I hope that if anyone is going through tough times, that you take a deep breath, relax, and tell yourself that you CAN and WILL get through it. The human mind and body are much stronger than most people understand.
